On June 4, 2023, the JEE Advanced 2023 test is scheduled to take place. Candidates who have not yet submitted their applications may do so by May 7, 2023, by visiting the official website, jee adv.ac.in. By May 8, 2023, the application cost must be paid. The Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, which administers the entrance exam, has a new syllabus this year.
More chapters are included in the new syllabus, although it appears that efforts have been made to integrate it with the JEE Main and CBSE curricula. A new category will also be added to the JEE Main in 2024.
JEE Main 2023 eligibility requirements have been released by the NTA. In order to take the JEE Main test in 2023, applicants must meet the following fundamental requirements. To learn more about the requirements for applying to JEE Main 2023, see the information provided below:
Age Criteria:
JEE Main (2023). Academic Qualification
JEE Main 2023 Exam Pattern
Mathematics: The triangle's solution has been removed from the syllabus, and a chapter on statistics has been added.
Physics: The chapters on semiconductors and communications have been left out. However, the course now covers JEE Main topics like forced and damped oscillations, EM waves, and polarization.
Chemistry: The parts on physical chemistry and biochemistry have undergone some revisions, and the chapter on nuclear chemistry has been eliminated.
In spite of a more extensive syllabus, students who take JEE Advanced prepare for JEE Main. As a result, diligent students won't be overly affected by the syllabus modification."Says Director Academics Saurabh Kumar.
It will be necessary for applicants who wish to enroll in design and associated disciplines at IITs also to get ready for the entrance exam's revised format. A new examination pattern and syllabus have been adopted for the design admission exams, CEED and UCEED. However, this modification will not happen until 2024.
For the CEED and UCEED design entrance exams, a new paper format and syllabus have also been adopted.
A computer-based exam will be administered in Part A and will consist of three sections: numerical answer type questions (NAT), multiple selection questions (MSQ), and multiple choice questions (MCQ).
Two questions will be presented on the computer screen as part of Part B. Both the drawing and design aptitude questions will require students to write or sketch their responses in the answer book that the examiner will supply.
